IMPORTANT

  • The tour will be operated subject to a minimum of 20 full-paying passengers travelling together. In the event that the group size is less than 20 passengers, you will be given an option of travelling on FIT basis, by paying an additional supplement.

Day 1

Welcome aboard Thomas Cook’s ‘Pure New Zealand’ tour.Welcome to Auckland – “The city of Sails” (Flight cost is not included)

  • On arrival at Auckland airport, you will be greeted by your friendly and experienced Thomas
    Cook Tour Manager / Local representative outside the baggage hall. (Flight cost is not included)
    Enjoy snacks on arrival. Proceed and Check into your hotel. (Standard Check in time: 1400Hrs).
    Later in the evening, enjoy a bird’s eye view of Auckland city from the Sky Tower observatory

Day 2

Proceed to Rotorua – “The Thermal city”. Experience the real Middle-Earth with a visit to the Hobbiton.

  • After an American breakfast at the hotel proceed to Rotorua via Hamilton Gardens.With its
    unique volcanic landscape, living Maori culture and natural hot springs, Rotorua is one of New
    Zealand’s most famous destinations. Enroute visit theWaitomo Caves in the lushWaikato
    region. Enroute enjoy hot lunch at an Indian restaurant. Marvel at Mother Nature’s light display,
    as you glide silently through the starry wonderland caves of Glow-worm situated underground along theWaitomo River and gaze in silence at the myriad of glow-worm lights that make up the
    Glow-worm Grotto. As you enter this galaxy of tiny living lights, you will immediately
    experience a serene ambience and be fascinated and intrigued by tiny glow-worms that light
    your way. Then proceed to guided tour of Hobbiton. Once you arrival into Rotorua you would

Day 3

See the sheep shows at Agrodome followed by a farmtour. Enjoy aMaori Cultural Show.

  • After a delicious breakfast, proceed for a Rotorua tour featuring lakefront and Government
    Gardens with its iconic Old Bath House. You also visit Agrodome which will give you a chance to
    see through the eyes of a true New Zealand farmer.Witness the Agrodome Sheep Show an
    exciting and informative insight into the world of New Zealand agriculture, featuring different
    breeds of sheep, sheep shearing, cow milking, lamb feeding and dog demonstrations. Later get
    an experience of the farms on your farm tour. Learn about the farming. Opportunity to take
    photos and hand feed the animals like sheep, cattle, deer, llamas and alpacas. After a delicious
    Indian lunch visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve where you can wander around the bubbling mud
    pools and see the famous ‘Pohutu’ Geyser. You also have the chance to indulge in some

Day 4

Today go on a long drive across the Desert Road toWellington

  • Breakfast and this day is a bit of a long drive. Next you drive towards Lake Taupo and after
    taking in some fantastic scenery proceed to Turangi from where the Desert Road starts which is
    a highway that crosses the alpine desert and the inhospitable weather makes it an interesting
    route to drive along. Each side of the Desert Road is covered with wonderful low scrublands and
    on the western rise themajestic backdrop of Mt Ruapehu, Mt Tongariro and Mt Ngauruhoe.
    There are some plenty of lake-edge stops for photographs, through the beauty of Tongariro
    National Park while you now proceed towardsWellington. Also view the Huka Falls. At Huka
    Falls you can witness the phenomenon of natural hydro power.
    Enroute stop for your lunch. Upon arrival intoWellington, proceed for an orientation tour of
    Wellington featuring Parliament Buildings, CBD and Port. Also see the Te Papamuseum. Enjoy

Day 5

Proceed fromWellington to Picton by an InterIslander Ferry – Travel fromNorth to South of New Zealand and Picton to Christchurch by Tran coastal Train/Ferry

  • Today have an early breakfast as you need to catch the early morning InterIslander Ferry to get
    to Picton. The ferry has movie theatres and play areas for kids. Upon arrival at Picton you will
    proceed to board your Tran coastal Train/Ferry for Christchurch. Cruise along scenic Queen
    Charlotte Sound. Enjoy lunch enroute. On arrival into Christchurch check into the hotel. Enjoy
    your sumptuous Indian Dinner.Overnight accommodation at Hotel Rydges Latimer or similar in Christchurch

Day 6

Proceed for a city tour of Christchurch and Later to Mt. Cook

  • Today in the morning post breakfast check out from your hotel. Before you head for Mt. Cook,
    enjoy a brief city tour of Christchurch which includes the beautiful Avon River, Mona Vale
    Gardens and Cashmere Hills, re-constructed CBD and the new ‘Cardboard Cathedral’. Enjoy the

Day 7

Proceed fromMt. Cook toWanaka. Youmay choose to experience the Tasman Glacier. Enjoy Puzzling world.

  • Today post breakfast you will check out from your hotel and you may proceed to experience the
    Tasman Glacier; New Zealand’s largest and one of the only accessible glacial lakes containing
    icebergs in the world! Travel to the Tasman Valley, followed by a alpine walk through the
    moraine and National Park. The experienced guide will whisk you away across the rapidly
    growing terminal lake in a stable MAC Boat, taking in spectacular mountain views and scenery
    and themelting ice-face of the Tasman Glacier. View the Tasman Glacier ice face from a safe
    distance and icebergs of all shapes and sizes with the opportunity to touch and taste the 300-
    500 year old ice crystals. Or you may spend some time at New Zealand’s highest mountain,
    Mount Cook. Next depart Mount Cook and travel down the western side of Lake Pukaki at the
    foot of New Zealand’s tallest mountain – Mount Cook – and onto Tekapo. The views of this alpine
    region are breathtaking as you head towards the stunning, glacial fed Lake Tekapo. Visit the
    famous Church of the Good Shepherd standing in picturesque solitude on the foreshores of the
    lake. From Tekapo, continue across the historic Lindis Pass and onto the small farming
    township of Geraldine. You will visit the Puzzling world just outside the town. It’s a unique
    attraction specializing in puzzling eccentricity. Offering the world’s first “modern-styled” Great

Today you have choice to hike up or take a helicopter ride over the Mt. Aspiring National Park.

  • Today after your breakfast you can exploreWanaka as you like it. A lively town buzzing with
    carefree spirit,Wanaka is the ultimate base for your South Island holiday. It’s the gateway to Mt
    Aspiring National Park – aWorld Heritage Area – an alpine paradise of towering peaks,
    thundering waterfalls, spectacular glaciers, rainforest, rivers and valleys. You may choose to
    take a hike to the Rob Roy Glacier. It begins with a scenic drive around LakeWanaka, and into
    the Matukituki valley driving through several fords. From here, the guided walk begins through
    farmland with sheep and cattle, and then across a swing bridge into the alpine rainforest to
    emerge above the tree line into the alpine herb fields opposite four glacier faces – a perfect

    the drive by the incredible views and enter the town of Queenstown. Proceed to Queenstown via
    Cromwell. Visit Bungee Jump Centre enroute. Tour Arrow Town and enjoy the fantastic scenery before arriving Queenstown. Proceed for Lunch. Now experience the famous Gondola ride, also
    a fast convenient access to the best views in the region, which is reputed to be the steepest lift in

Day 10

Today we set out for themost spectacular cruise to theMilford Sound.

  • After an American breakfast, depart from Queenstown and travel via Te Anau through the awe
    inspiring Homer Tunnel and the stunning glacier-carved Eglington Valley, to arrive at Milford
    Sound. Enjoy the full-day on an unforgettable Milford Sound cruise, which sails right up to the
    mouth of the Tasman Sea (weather permitting). Enjoy a delicious lunch on board the cruise.
    Journey into the untouched paradise of Milford Sound and explore the natural wonders and
    history surrounding this deep fiord. Later tonight, enjoy a sumptuous Indian dinner at a local

Day 11

Today enjoy TSS Earnslaw. And get set for an adventurous day

  • Post breakfast you will be taken for a cruise on LakeWakatipu on the iconic steamship the TSS
    Earnslaw is undoubtedly one of the best ways to experience Queenstown’s famed scenic beauty.
    The leisurely 90minute cruise across the lake showcases some of Queenstown’s spectacular
    alpine scenery while offering you plenty of time to explore a piece of Queenstown’s living
    history – the 100 year old TSS Earnslaw. You can visit the engine room and see its giant steam
    engines at work, view the collection of historical photos in our mini-museum, check out the
    bridge or even join a sing-along with the pianist. Now prepare yourself for the ultimate Jet
    Boating experience with Shotover Jet – the unique, breathtaking white water ride and adrenaline
    rush you’ll never forget. It’s an amazing white water ride, as the Shotover Canyon walls tower
    over you; your expert driver puts his state-of-the-art Jet Boat through its paces. Rock faces blur
